Summer is in full swing, and we hope you’re all enjoying it. When the heat becomes overwhelming, we hope you can find some shade beneath a tree.
If you’ve been following us, you already know that summer is a quieter season for us. We don’t plant trees during the hottest months, as extreme heat is not suitable for newly planted saplings.
This spring, however, we completed a project that was especially meaningful to us. While our tree-planting activities are usually carried out on our own land—where we can care for and protect the trees over the long term—we had the opportunity to take part in a special collaboration with the Municipality of Biatorbágy to create a new green space in the town.

This project was particularly close to our hearts because the founder of Plant a Tree Project is a resident of Biatorbágy and is personally committed to supporting the local community and improving the town’s green spaces. Together with the Municipality of Biatorbágy, we planted ten English oak trees (Quercus robur ‘Fastigiata’) along Antall József Street.
This project marked the first step in a longer-term vision. Our goal is not simply to plant a handful of trees, but to help establish a community-focused green initiative that creates lasting value and contributes to a greener, more liveable Biatorbágy.
The project was successfully completed, as confirmed by the official completion certificate signed by all parties. We are delighted to see that the trees planted this spring are already growing beautifully.
BiatorbágyON Media Ltd. also featured the project in an interview, which you can watch here:
Thank you for being part of our journey, for following our work, and for supporting our mission. If you would like to contribute to making Hungary greener, you can still adopt a tree in one of our forests. Meanwhile, we are already preparing for our autumn planting season, when many more trees will find their new home in the ground.
